JazzAmba is a company that strives to be the trust representing Ethiopia’s music industry as well as being the principal force behind a flourishing local jazz scene. It was founded a few years ago by five likeminded personalities.  

These includes; Girum Mezmur, Henok Temesgen, Samuel Gezahagne, Abegasu Kibrework Shiwota and Yonas Gorfe. These producing and performing artists have always been inspiration and encouragement for various age groups who admire music as a hobby or those with a talent.

It is the parent company of JazzaAmba Lounge and JazzAmba School of Music. With the goal of creating a performance venue for current and legendary Ethiopian musicians, it also provides a free music education to the public at its school.

JazzAmba is dedicated to showcasing, preserving and hopefully reviving the country’s unique musical traditions through both of its subsidiaries.
